PHRASES TO INSPIRE

6 Phrases To Inspire Entrepreneurs In 2013

Gather yourself, breathe in and out, and hold your head up high and there’s no way the bigger picture of your business can suffer as a result.
1) Be Confident in Taking a Risk
This is YOUR business! You did it! You had an idea, it stuck in the crevice of your brain, you hashed out ideas and drew up plans on how to carry out the ideas in your head, and you made them a reality. That’s not easy to do. What is easy is to do nothing or wait for a good thing to show up and find you. Actions still speak louder than words and in 2013, entrepreneurs need to be able to stand by their decisions and continue to stand there with great pride in the company that they built.
2) Work Hard. Work Harder. Work Hardest.
Never stop working hard because the rewards will follow. It could be in a year’s time or longer or it could very well be overnight. And whether or not you achieve success for your business in the short or long term, you’ll still have to continue to work at it. Rewards rarely stay consistently rolling in so skip the 100% and give your business 200% in terms of pushing up your sleeves and hitting the grindstone.
3) Hire Great People
The people you employ can make or break your business. That sounds scary enough, but great people with the right skill set and a willing attitude can take your business to new heights. Do your background work in the interview process to find the right person who is the perfect fit for the job – or in some cases, can be trained to fit that spot just right.
4) Love What You Do
The secret behind any business? If you love what you do, if you eat, sleep, and dream your business, then it doesn’t feel like work. Your passion for what you do will speak for you.
5) Owning Your Own Business Means Everything is on Your Own Time
This is where planning and sticking to a schedule will become of critical importance to you and your business. A leisurely lunch won’t be for every day and free afternoons may be few and far in between. By creating and sticking to a carefully planned out schedule, you be able to balance out work and life and know how to handle with ease those moments where a curve ball gets thrown your way – say, in the event of an expected sick day.
6) Work Hard, Play Hard
While I have already stressed the importance of working hard above, these two go hand in hand. And I did say the rewards would follow, didn’t I?
